Pigs smart but still disgusting

scientist Donald Broom of the University of Cambridge in England put pigs in a pen and food around a corner. He found most pigs could use a mirror to find the food vs. humping/attacking their own image, which I have been known to do.

Strange thing is despite understanding the mechanics of mirrors they still cannot understand their own image. Researchers did this by putting paint on the animals face and then watching the animal not care at all. Maybe animals just don’t care that there is shit on their face. Pigs for example roll around mud. They have pretty much let go of taking care of themselves visually.
